Overview

Yoga and Meditation in Nepal Annapurna Himalayas, staying in the best hotels with a large green lawn for meditation and yoga. The tour takes you to a Shanti / Peace Stupa located on a high ridge across the simmering Phewa Lake. A hike of a few hours walking uphill to the Buddhist Stupa facing a grand panorama of Annapurna and Manaslu range.

The scenic view includes the beautiful Pokhara valley and the city with its serene lakes. Great contrast against green rolling hills with white snow peaks of Annapurna Himalayas and majestic Machhapuchare Himal the Fish-Tail. A great pleasant spot at Shanti / Peace Stupa for morning Yoga and Meditation exercise. The Yoga & Meditation tour leads beyond Pokhara valley for a short hike up to a beautiful location at Australian Camp. Also known by its original name Thulo-Kharka, a perfect spot amidst serene woodland facing the panorama of Annapurna Himalayas. This will be the highest point of the trip at 2,050 m within a tranquil environment.

At Australian Camp enjoy the sunrise over the chain of snow peaks, as well as a great place for yoga and meditation. As well as a short hike around the villages inhabited by the Gurung, the hill tribes of Annapurna Himalayas. Day 02: Kathmandu Tour with morning and evening Yoga / Meditation practice

Morning Yoga exercise at the hotel garden lawn, having breakfast our guide takes us for a tour around places of interest. Includes most ancient landmarks of the country listed on a world heritage site. Afternoon at leisure with evening Yoga and Meditation exercise.

Depart from the hotel, after a morning routine of Yoga & Meditation for a short scenic flight to Nepal Mid-West at Pokhara. Scenic panorama of Central and western Himalayas, as the plane, lands at Pokhara airport and then transfers to a nice hotel. Located close to the shore of beautiful Phewa Lake, with time here to browse the streets around Lakeside. Evening Yoga & Meditation exercise before having grand dinner in one lovely restaurant.

Day 04: Morning across Phewa Lake and hike to Shanti / Peace Stupa.

Yoga exercise and meditation at Peace Stupa with sunrise views. Early morning Yoga & Meditation routine exercise, after breakfast with time for individual activities. Walk to the lakeshore for boating across the Phewa Lake reaching the foot of Shanti Stupa. A climb of more than an hour reaches on top of the ridge, where Peace/ Shanti Stupa is located. A scenic high ridge facing a panorama of Annapurna and Manaslu Himalaya range with views of Pokhara valley, and the lake. Carry on with Yoga & Meditation exercises along with scenic views, depending upon the time of routine. Probably best late afternoon before dusk, or early evening, catch the sunset and walk down to the lake. As the boat reaches across and back at the hotel for leisure evening till dinner time.

Note on Shanti / Peace Stupa:

A peaceful spot where you can have time for a short tour around the Stupa premises with a nice garden, Peace Stupa is a Pagoda-shaped Buddhist monument which was built and started in 1973 and completed during the late 1980s.

Peace / Shanti Stupa, also known as Ananda hill built by a Japanese monk Nipponzan – Myōhōji Morioka Sonin with local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist head monk founder of Nipponzan-Myōhōji.

Day 05: Drive from Pokhara to Kande and hike to Australian Camp

After the early morning Yoga and Meditation routine, having breakfast, depart from the hotel for an hour’s drive. Reaching the foothills of Annapurna Himalayas in a small village of Kande. From here climb into the cool shade of the forest, then reach a scenic flat field at Australian Camp. It is also known as Thulo Kharka a grazing ground for local villagers’ cattle, with a number of nice lodges. Enjoy the grand panorama of Annapurna and Manaslu Himalaya range with a view of Dhaulagiri Himal and Machhapuchhre the Fish-Tail peak. After a nice lovely walk transfer into a lodge for an overnight stop, evening watch the sunsets. Along with the daily routine of Yoga & Meditation in the shade of lovely views of snow-capped peaks.

Day 06: Trek from Australian Camp to Dhampus

Day 07: Drive back to Pokhara. Transfer to domestic airport and Fly back to kathmandu.

Morning enjoys the glory of Annapurna Himalayas panorama and then has breakfast. Drive to Pokhara airport for a panoramic flight back to Kathmandu, and from the airport a short transfer back to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for individual activities as well for Yoga & Meditation exercises at the hotel garden lawn.
