Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day resting and getting acclimatized to the altitude.

Day 2:
Kathmandu full day sightseeing

Today, we will take you on a full-day tour of Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. The city is famous for its ancient temples and palaces, and we will visit some of the most iconic landmarks such as the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple).

Day 3:
Fly to Lhasa (3500m)

Today, we will take a flight to Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can rest and acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 4:
Lhasa full day sightseeing

Today, we will explore the beautiful city of Lhasa, which is also known as the “City of Sunshine”. We will visit some of the most famous landmarks such as the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street.

Day 5:
Drive to Xigatse (270KM)

Today, we will embark on a scenic drive to Xigatse, a historical city located at an altitude of 3,900 meters above sea level. Along the way, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, the highest peak in the world. In Xigatse, we will visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery, which is home to the Panchen Lama, the second-highest spiritual leader of Tibet. Here, we will marvel at the intricate architecture and intricate artwork of this 15th-century monastery, which is one of the largest and most important in Tibet. We will spend the night in Xigatse, soaking in the local culture and enjoying the unique sights and sounds of this ancient city.

Day 6:
Drive to saga (410KM)

Today, we will drive to Saga, which is a small town located at an altitude of 4,600 meters. En route, we will pass through some of the most stunning landscapes and enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalayas.

Day 7:
Drive to Mansarovar (375KM)

Today, we will drive to Mansarovar, which is a sacred lake in Tibet. The lake is considered holy by both Hindus and Buddhists, and it is believed that taking a dip in the lake can cleanse one’s sins.

Day 8:
Mansarovar parikrama and Drive to Darchen (4600M)

Today, we will do the Mansarovar parikrama, which is a circumambulation of the lake. After completing the parikrama, we will drive to Darchen, which is the starting point of the Kailash kora.

Day 9:
Drive to Yamdwar and trek to Dirapuk (4860m)

Today, we will drive to Yamdwar, which is the starting point of the Kailash trek. From there, we will trek to Dirapuk, which is located at an altitude of 4860 meters.

Day 10:
Trek to Zutalpuk (4600m)

Today, we will trek to Zutalpuk, which is located at an altitude of 4600 meters. En route, we will pass through the Dolma La Pass, which is located at an altitude of 5630 meters.

Day 11:
Trek to Darchen and Drive to Saga (4500m)

Today, we will complete our Kailash kora and trek back to Darchen. From there, we will drive back to Saga.

Day 12:
Drive to Xigatse

Today, we will drive back to Xigatse, where we will spend the night. Along the way, we will enjoy the beautiful scenery and stop to take photos of the stunning landscapes.

Day 13:
Drive to Lhasa (270KM)

After breakfast, we will drive back to Lhasa, where we will spend the rest of the day exploring the city at our own leisure. You can visit some of the local markets and souvenir shops to pick up some unique Tibetan crafts and souvenirs.

Day 14:
Fly to Kathmandu

Today, we will take a flight back to Kathmandu, where we will spend our last night in Nepal. You can spend the evening exploring the city on your own or simply relax and unwind at your hotel.

Day 15:
Fly back to home

Today, it is time to say goodbye to Nepal and Tibet as we take a flight back home. You will leave with unforgettable memories of your journey through some of the most beautiful and spiritual places on earth.

  • If pilgrims leave the group early from the Tibet side for non–disease reasons then USD 100 per person per day has to be paid as a penalty to the Tibet side – T.A.R. Foreign Exchange Center (FEC). ( Visa splitting charge, accommodation, and transportation charges will be extra)
  • Extra accommodation charge in Kathmandu if the flight is canceled due to bad weather or delay in Permit /Visa from Tibet (Please make sure your air ticket is flexible to change dates)
  • Visa splitting charge and extra transportation cost, if returning early from Tibet.
  • Any additional cost due to natural calamities and unforeseen circumstances
