Exactly the kind of trip I wanted
This was exactly the kind of trip I was hoping for. Quiet mornings, lots of time outdoors, and no pressure to constantly move or rush. Bardiya felt raw and natural, and the safaris gave enough time to watch wildlife properly. I enjoyed the birdwatching days the most, especially around wetlands where you could just stand and observe. Lumbini was calm and added a nice break between safari days. Chitwan was more active, but still enjoyable and well-organized. I also liked learning about conservation during the visit to the vulture restaurant. The journey back to Kathmandu through the villages was a nice ending. Everything felt balanced and thoughtfully planned. If you enjoy wildlife, photography, and peaceful travel, this tour makes a lot of sense. I honestly had a great time in Nepal.

An honest and well-paced wildlife tour with Guide Rama
The 14-Day Wildlife and Birdwatching Photography Tour was an amazing experience overall. Bardiya and Koshi Tappu were definitely the highlights for me. The jeep safaris in Bardiya felt quiet and authentic, and even though wildlife sightings like tigers depend on luck, the guides were extremely knowledgeable and patient, pointing out signs and explaining animal behavior. Birdwatching days were relaxed, which made photography much easier and enjoyable.
Some of the driving days were long, especially between Chitwan and Koshi Tappu, but the route made sense since we covered so many important wildlife and birding areas. Hotels were simple but clean, and food was consistently good. If you enjoy nature, photography, and don’t mind early mornings and long drives, this tour is definitely worth it.

Bardiya’s safari felt like being in a nature show. I kept tripping over my camera strap and bumping into bushes, which made me laugh more than once. Koshi Tappu’s wetlands were gorgeous, and I’m still not sure if that bird I photographed was a Sarus Crane or a Purple Swamp Hen, but it looked amazing in my photos. Every morning was quiet and peaceful, perfect for taking pictures.
Even though the drives were long, I enjoyed watching the scenery change from forests to open wetlands. Seeing animals along the way like monkeys and deer made the journey fun. Even simple roadside stops felt like little adventures. It was a relaxed and joyful way to experience nature from start to finish.

There’s something special about stepping into Koshi Tappu at sunrise. The wetlands were calm, the air fresh, and the animals slowly waking up made the mornings perfect for photography.
A colorful kingfisher perched nearby, and I spent a long time trying to photograph it without disturbing it. Watching ducks swim gracefully across the wetlands and noticing how birds and fish moved made every moment peaceful and beautiful. The reflection of the sky on the water and the soft morning light added a magical touch to the scenery. I enjoyed small details, like the leaves moving gently in the trees and the water rippling around the birds. Each day brought new sights and experiences, and the quiet mornings, amazing landscapes, and wildlife made the trip unforgettable.

I usually do city holidays, so this wildlife tour felt completely different, in the best way. Kathmandu was lively and fun for a quick walk, and Lumbini surprised me with its calm vibe and beautiful wetlands. Jagdishpur Lake was incredible, and I could have spent all day spotting birds and taking photos. Driving to Chitwan seemed long at first, but the scenery of villages, forests, and fields kept me entertained. Chitwan National Park was the highlight, where jeep safaris and walking tours made it feel like I was living in a nature documentary. I saw so many animals and birds up close, and our guide was great at pointing out everything without making it feel forced. By the end, I felt relaxed, amazed, and grateful for experiencing Nepal’s wildlife and the peaceful moments along the way.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this trip turned out to be amazing. Kathmandu was bustling, but getting out on the road to Lumbini instantly felt peaceful. The wetlands there were full of birds, and I spent hours just staring through my lens, trying to capture even a fraction of their colors. Chitwan National Park was the highlight. Seeing wild deer, tiger tracks, and colorful birds was surreal, especially on the jeep safaris. The walking tour gave a different perspective and allowed me to notice tiny details in the jungle I would have missed otherwise. The guide was patient, funny, and knew exactly where to take us for the best wildlife shots. By the end, I felt exhausted in the best way, full of stories, and very happy I went.

This trip was kind of life-changing, no joke. Kathmandu’s Buddhist sites were peaceful, and just being there made you slow down without trying. Bouddhanath and Swayambhunath were the perfect mix of energy and serenity. Kopan Monastery gave me my first taste of meditation, and it actually wasn’t hard or weird. Pharping felt hidden away from the world, which was a nice break. Pokhara added nature, lake views, and a sunrise that I still think about. Lumbini was emotional, and standing at the birthplace of Buddha hit differently than I imagined. The guide made everything smooth, kept the vibe chill, and shared stories that actually stuck. By the end, I was grateful to be a part of such a remarkable tour. Thank you so much, Himalayan 360 team!

I honestly didn’t expect this tour to affect me as much as it did. From the very first day, I could feel a calm energy in the places we visited. Bouddhanath and Kopan Monastery were peaceful and welcoming, and being there made it easy to slow down and just take in the atmosphere. Pharping was quiet and felt untouched, which made it a perfect place to reflect and enjoy the surroundings. The drive to Pokhara was long, but the scenery along the way was stunning, and spending time by Phewa Lake was so relaxing. Watching the sunrise from Sarangkot was breathtaking, and it felt like one of those rare moments you remember forever. Lumbini was emotional in a very gentle and respectful way. Standing at the birthplace of Buddha made everything feel real and personal. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the pace easy, answering every question we had. By the end of the trip, I felt lighter and more centered than I had in a long time. This tour left me with incredible memories and a real sense of peace that I will carry with me for years.

Chitwan, Bardiya, and Koshi Tappu were full of amazing moments. The jeep safaris and walks through wetlands made me feel close to nature, and the mornings were quiet and perfect for taking photos.
During one walk, a crocodile slid into the water right in front of us, which surprised everyone but made a great photo. A group of monkeys followed our path for a while, and we all laughed at their playful antics. Watching the sun set over the wetlands with birds flying across the sky was beautiful. These little surprises happened every day and made me feel really connected to nature.

Barad (My Tour guide) was extremely knowledgeable. It is a day with lots to see and more to learn, definitely recommended. Even though there are so many places to visit but Barad never made me feel rushed. He still allowed me time to have tea, yoghurt, and enjoy good views. This is a fantastic tour. If you are interested in UNESCO World Heritage sites, you can book this full-day tour.

From the moment I left Kathmandu, this trip felt completely different from my usual travels. Lumbini’s wetlands were alive with birds, and I spent hours trying to spot every colorful one while snapping pictures. The drive to Chitwan didn’t feel tiring because the views kept changing with villages, fields, and hills constantly passing by. Chitwan National Park was breathtaking, and riding in a jeep while spotting wildlife gave me moments I’ll never forget. Even the short walking tours along the park edge made me feel fully immersed in nature. The guide was friendly and fun, explaining everything without making it feel like a lecture. By the last day, I had so many photos, memories, and stories to tell friends, and I honestly didn’t want this trip to end. Nepal is amazing, and this experience was unforgettable.
