The 7 days Lhasa to Kathmandu Overland Tour via EBC is an amazing journey across the vast Tibetan Plateau. The trip starts in Lhasa, the spiritual heart of Tibet, goes to Tibet side Everest Base Camp, and ends in Kathmandu. Throughout the tour, you will see different landscapes, from the dry plains of Tibet to the green hills of Nepal. You will also pass through historic towns, high mountain passes, and beautiful lakes that show the region’s natural beauty.
The first three days are spent exploring Lhasa and getting used to the high altitude. You will visit important sites like Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Market, and the Drepung and Sera Monasteries. These places show Tibet’s unique culture and spiritual life. You will also try local Tibetan food, meet monks, and see the daily life of the city.
From Day 4, the tour becomes an overland adventure. You will drive from Lhasa to Shigatse, and then to Everest Base Camp (Tibet side) near Rongbuk Monastery.
